    Men’s V/s Women’s Brain

University researchers in London recently analyzed results of several international studies meant to measure and compare male and female IQ’s. Even when results pointed out women and men are fairly equal, red flags were risen due to another factor. The analysis led to discover a significant distinction in how men and women perceive intelligence.

The results showed men and women alike consider the male portion of human kind smarter. And the “smart” factor goes two ways. Not only does the sample group consider men are smarter than they actually are; they also believe men are smarter than women. Grandfathers, fathers and sons are considered by all cultures and generations to have a higher intelligence level than their female counterparts.

An online columnist questioned an ever-lasting conundrum: are women deliberately playing dumb? May be so, but is men who believe them the dumber for not realizing this sooner. Or are they? The columnist says men unaware of women playing dumb continue to happily believe they hold the source to brain power, so no harm done there.

But it seems men are great culprits at the misconception trend. The study showed the less intelligent men are often those who overestimate their intelligence the most. Men believe they are smarter than they really are. On the other hand, women constantly underestimate their capacity, and it is the brightest women who underestimate themselves the most. In sum, incompetent people are overestimating their abilities and capable ones are not undertaking the tasks they should.

Eventually, what would matter the most to men is whether we have won the battle of the smartest; though I’m not sure we have. Be it true or just a faulty perception from the great majority, no man will be told otherwise when a world sample believes the stronger gender holds the smart crown. One thing is true, though. Men and women do not think alike. The brain is made out of two different kinds of tissue (white and gray matter), and each gender seems to use what suits them best.

    Hair Loss Causes

Weakness and fatigue deteriorates the overall health of the individual. It diminishes the capability of the transport system in the body to supply the nutrients to the hairs. Even the production of the testosterone in the body is being decreased to a considerable extent. So, the lack of testosterone results in the deterioration of the hair growth process. The new growth of the hairs is being completely retarded due to the weakness and fatigue.

Due to the weakness and fatigue the hairs weakens. You may notice graying of the hairs as the preliminary state. The hairs will start breaking initially when you comb or wash them. Even drying the hairs with the hair dryer or with the soft napkin would lead to the breaking of hairs or even uprooting of the hairs.

Fatigue happens when there is a temporary loss of energy due to the excessive stress and when you do work in more limit than your capacity. Hair loss wouldn’t be visible at this stage, but after about 6 months you will notice the development of the bald patch on your head. The hair fall gets faster if you don’t take adequate care of your hairs at this stage.

In order to fight back the hair loss caused by these problems the first thing you must do is to overcome these health problems. Once you learn to overcome weakness and fatigue you can overcome hair loss problem easily.

Tags: Clinical depression, emotion, mentally unbalanced, suicide

    Mens Depression

Clinical depression in men is a serious medical condition, yet men try ignoring or refusing treatment for it. Irritability, isolation and the constant need of being alone along with over-working, excessive drinking, and drug abuse. Men suffering from male depression are likely to display coping strategies that are different from those of women. More reckless driving, sexual encounters or total seclusion from the world are part of male depression coping tactics.

Even when research numbers might show women are more likely to suffer from depression, this very reason might be why male depression many times goes undiagnosed. Symptoms for male depression are somewhat different than those of women. Besides, men are more likely to commit suicide and carry out the whole process, including death. Used to doing things their way, men have the need to learn how to cope in a healthy, non-harmful way.

Most men are reluctant to discuss depression symptoms openly with others, while women are generally more communicative, even when depressed. Because discussing depression means talking openly about feelings and emotions, this issue might be difficult for men. Being mentally unbalanced is a direct threat to a man’s masculinity. Men are supposed to be independent and emotionally controlled.  Part of society believes men who have displays of emotion are less of a man than those who don’t have these public displays.

Depression symptoms can many times go by misdiagnosed, when masked as an alcohol or substance abuse cases. One man’s depression symptoms might not be the other’s; the difference between symptoms in different people can also lead to mis-diagnosis. If diagnosed, mens health can resist treatment, because they worry of possible social or labor stigmas. Losing the respect of others (specially family and friends) drives them to resist treatment as well.
